Ordinary shampoos containing Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLF) and other chemical additives damage the hair shafts, stripping them of their natural oils, making the hair brittle and dry, and causing split ends. Feedback: I did like this product. It feels like a cold cream going in your hair but it rinsed out well.  I did have to spend more time rinsing it than some others however. It did not have a strong scent.
